Heidelberg Catechism: Lord’s Day 24

Post placeholder image

Pastor Ryan Kiblinger continues his teaching through the Heidelberg Catechism. In this twenty-fourth installment, Pastor Ryan explores questions 62, 63, and 64. These questions are “Why can our good works not be our righteousness before God, or at least part of it?”, “But do our good works earn nothing, even though God promises to reward them in this life and the next?”, and “Does this teaching not make people careless and wicked?”. Thus, Pastor Ryan explores topics related to our good works, justification, faith, and thankfulness.

Watch the lesson here.

I hope that this journey through the catechism provides you with ways to think, rejoice, and confess. Above all, may we continually be mindful of the work that the Holy Spirit is doing in our lives.
