Worship on the Front Lawn July 12, 2020

Post placeholder image

United Protestant Church will hold an in person, outdoor service, Sunday July 12th, at 10 am on the front lawn of UPC.  We are asking people to bring their own chair, practice social distancing, and to hum instead of sing.

United Protestant Church will gather on the front lawn and worship together using the order of service sent out on Saturday. Due to technical limitations, we will not be hosting a live Zoom meeting for worship this week.   We are excited to be able to once again meet as a church family but doing so with caution.  At the service, we will go through the liturgy together and have a live sermon but will refrain from congregational singing, asking people to hum rather than sing. We will also not pass an offering plate during the service.

If you have reservations about coming due to health concerns, we understand and ask that you stay safe and not attend. The sermon and songs will be available on the church YouTube channel, so that you may participate with us.

You are invited to bring a bag lunch and stay after worship for a socially distanced church picnic on the lawn as well.  It has been so long since we have been together and look forward to this time with great anticipation.

Blessings,

United Protestant Church
