As we continue our survey of 1 Peter, this week, we explore Peter’s message in 1 Peter 2:11 – 4:11. In this portion of Scripture, Peter tries to communicate to God’s people how to live godly in the midst of a society that is increasingly hostile to God’s message of hope. Thus, Peter addresses submitting to various authorities, characteristics of the Christian community, and suffering unjustly for Christ’s name.
